These are fantastic for sourdough starter. The sides are easier to scrape than traditional mason jars; they’re large enough for a standard 2-loaf starter; the lids are easy to work with; and they’re pretty.

We use these for all of our non-boule bread baking (quick breads, sourdough, yeast breads) as well as meat loaf, mini lasagnas… you name it. A non-toxic option that’s superior to teflon and non-stick. Easy to clean!

Non-stick, non-toxic, non-hassle. We find that foods cook and bake more quickly in cast iron, so just check partway through the cook time in your recipe!

Used for cleaning all of our cast iron. We find it works better than chainmail scrubbers. (We keep this scrub brush separate from our normal dish scrub brushes to avoid soap residue when cleaning our cast iron.)

We use these for everything on the farm! Cold kitchen and need your bread dough to rise more quickly? Stick a heat mat under it. Need a warm spot for a chilly animal? A small space, a blanket, and a heat mat! Starting seeds indoors? Oh, yeah—it does that, too!

A workhorse in the kitchen that has so many uses. Our favourite: braised beef tongue! (But you can use it for classics—like a good ol’ pot roast—too.)

The next-best thing to a vintage cast iron pan. With proper care and maintenance, this will likely become your favourite cookware in your kitchen. Versatile, durable, and non-toxic. What more could you ask for?

Perfect for searing steaks, pork chops, chicken breasts, shrimp… you name it.
