We are proud to offer two selections of pasture-raised meat chickens for our customers to choose from. We offer Large White and Orlopp Bronze turkeys for the traditional holiday season meals.
Fresh chicken is available from June to September. Fresh turkey is available during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Frozen poultry may be available year-round, pending quantities.
Cornish Cross Chicken
These birds are bred to grow large quickly. Fed a nutritionally-balanced feed and pasture, the result is a large, tender chicken perfect for roasting or frying.
Rustic Ranger Chicken
This breed of chicken grows more slowly than the Cornish Cross, but spends that extra time foraging the fields for grasses and insects, resulting in a flavourful meat.
Orlopp Bronze Turkey
The Orlopp Bronze is a broad-breasted turkey delivering a high meat quality due to its natural fat layering.
Large White Turkey
The Large White turkey is a holiday classic that is known for its large breasts and flavourful meat.
We prioritize the ethical raising of our meat birds, which includes ensuring enough space for them to roam comfortably. Quantities are limited for both chicken and turkey. Be sure to inquire early to avoid disappointment.
