We proudly offer quality pork from our stock of Kunekune pigs, a New Zealand heritage breed. “Kunekune” means “fat and round” in the Maori language. Kunekune pork is known for its tender, marbled meat. Often, it is referred to as “the other red meat!”

Kunekune pigs are unique in their ability to thrive on pasture. The breed was once at risk of extinction, but selective breeding recovery efforts have resulted in a growing population of quality pigs.

Our herd of pigs enjoy a nutritionally-balanced feed ration along with grasses and insects from their pastures.
